The Moving Center: Exploring Movement Activities for the Classroom

AN INSTRUCTION MANUAL FOR WHOLE-BODY LEARNING

Gay Hendricks, Ph.D.
and Kathlyn Hendricks, Ph.D.

The Moving Center is an open-and-read instruction manual to support you in bringing whole-body learning to a variety of settings. It was originally written for the classroom, but over the years we’ve found that the activities work beautifully with all ages. The Moving Center is designed so that you can look up a theme you are interested in, locate the movement activity that explores that issue, and share with your group immediately. All the activities have been tested with many groups and have remained valuable over the last 25 years.
